Primeval modernity is how I would define the brilliant "Third". There is something quite primeval about some of the tribal sounding drum beats, Beth's wails and so forth. Yet at the same time it is cutting edge electronica. I personally love this mix. Album of the year, and particularly well suited to autumn down here in New Zealand (mightn't fit quite so well as a northern hemisphere spring album?)
