    Magic Doors

Love this tune, brilliant percussion's and sound. As for the lyrics, they sound quite personal to me. What do you think its about? To me it sounds like its about someone who feels isolated from the gift of fame, which they have never been able to grasp.

I don't actually disagree cause I think the true intention of songs - [P] songs - are exactly to make multiple interpretations; each one senses it personally. Indeed I don't find that sense you describe here, although it's my favourite song. I just feel like it's about oneself, being oneself in a society, looking for acceptance but trying not to bow to others will.

I truly identify myself with this song. First, it was the music in itself. It totally spoke to me, it moved me. The lyrics are the "cherry on top of the cake", they talk about inner feelings, feelings I have too many times. Oh noes, this post's getting totally lame. Magic Doors rulez.

It is a 10/10 song. I think magic doors has got everything to be a single... it is one of the most "accessible" songs in Third, which means nothing bad, at least for me.

And I love the strange interlude... what is it? a trumpet or something?

Personally, I love "Magic Doors", but, always skip the first 20-25 sec, and I can't say I woudl ever agree that it is, in it's entirety *accessible*, most specifically, the elephant romp around 2:20. I can't see that going well on the radio, a least in the west.(US/Canada)

I can confirm it is a Saxaphone with, I suspect, some effects or heavy filtering on the track.

I read somewhere that the song is about "sexual identity". It sounds pretty accurate to me.

    "I'm losing myself

    my desire I can't hide

    no reason am I for"

     This song is amazing.
